The Burnout Recovery Method

Aiding the recovery of chronic stress and Burnout

You've reached Burnout, now what?

Burnout impacts your confidence, clarity, self-worth and decision making ability, not to mention the effect on your health, wellbeing and energy.

The Burnout Recovery Method works to release the trauma and stress of Burnout to move you toward a more balanced relationship with yourself and your work.

How does the Burnout Recovery Method work?

The Burnout Recovery Method releases stress and trauma from Burnout on your body and mind to kickstart your recovery.

We'll work with the nervous system, energy body, conscious and unconscious mind to release the impact of Burnout using tools based on psychology, neuroscience, breath-work and movement.

The exact modality and methodology that we use during your sessions will vary depending on the length and depth of your Burnout and the impact that the Burnout is having on you, your life, your relationships and work.

It's a whole person approach to Burnout Recovery.

During your initial session we'll discuss where you're at, where you'd like to get to, and then we'll begin working immediately on relaxing your body and mind.

Your following sessions will take place weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on the impact of your Burnout, and as you progress the length of time between sessions will increase.

I can't give a quick answer to this, but most clients work with me for between 6 and 12 sessions, sometimes longer and sometimes less.

There's no one-size-fits-all to Burnout and no one size fits all when it comes to Burnout Recovery

When I was recovering from my own periods of Burnout, I realised that I couldn't think my way out of it.  I needed more. 

Over the last decade I've been joining the dots and learning as many ways as possible to release Burnout from the body and mind.

You are unique, and so is your Burnout Recovery.  By having a number of modalities that I can use, I work intuitively to help you recover based on how the Burnout is impacting you.

Sessions take place virtually and typically by phone or zoom.

We spend most of our lives attached to screens, so my preference is phone, this also allows you to relax more into the sessions and allows you to focus more on you than me.

There may be some sessions though and some of the work where I need to see you, so we'll Zoom.  And there may be other sessions where I only need to hear you.

This has varied and of course depends on what the clients see as 'success'.

Some have returned to their current work with great success. 

Others have gone on to start their businesses. 

Some have retrained in completely different fields.

Some have taken sabbaticals and never returned to work.

Everyone has a greater sense of who they are.  Has more confidence.  And is living a happier and healthier life.

Coaching forms the basis of our sessions, but it's much more than pure coaching.

When I realised that you can't think your way out of Burnout because of the impact it has on you, I began combining other tools to better help and support my clients.

Yes.

Typically employers prefer to pay in blocks, and given the often lengthy payment terms, I do advise a minimum of 6 sessions at a time.

This is something we can discuss, but is not always advisable.
